My 5 yo old is loving this book. It goes from pre-dinosaurs to ice age animals. I feel like they’ve included the latest discoveries as some dinos including T. Rex are shown with feathers. I love DK books and partnering with the Smithsonian was a great idea. Definitely a good book for kids.

My son loves these DK books! This is his second one (he also has a transportation book). At four years old he is a bit on the young side, and a few pages have small rips, but he looks at them over and over again. I love reading them with him and we always learn something new. Awesome illustrations and great information sections on every page.

It’s a great book with a lot of pictures. My 9 year old grandson loves it.

I love this book ! I bought it for a neighbor boy, but I loved it so much I haven’t given it to him yet! It has great graphics and well written explanations.

My son won’t put it down. It’s all prehistoric creatures, not just dinosaurs, and it’s extremely thorough. My son is 4 and he loves it.

This book is wonderful. It explains what's going on in the body in response to opioids and why patients continue in pain despite being treated with the "best" pain medications known to humanity thus far. I am a pharmacist and I have always queried why my patients on the most opioid pain medicines seem to be in the most pain and most miserable. This book explains why. A couple things I didn't like: I don't like how big the book is, although I realize the authors may have intended this to make copies of the forms inside the book. I don't like some of the mindfulness theories presented in the book. Mindfulness originated in Buddhist teachings. I'd prefer a more vague approach first like CBT or counseling, and then I would like to hear the authors' personal views. For me, I know there are many ways to help pain in Christianity. All things considered, I recommend this book all the time and plan on referencing it when I start writing my own medical articles.
