This is one of the most beautifully written spiritual books I've read in some time. I am new to the Kabbalah's wisdom, and find that it blends beautifully with other spiritual texts I've read over the years. The beauty and wisdom of the Kabbalah (thanks in part to Michael Berg's considerable talents) is made even more potent by the inclusion of simile, metaphor and stories associated with the Kabballah's great teachers. I'm very glad I bought this excellent book, and highly recommend it to all spiritual seekers.
I have had an interest in learning more about the mystical side of Judaism, but found my initial book selections about Kabbalah to be too detailed for me to keep my focus. "The Way", in contrast, was an easy read, very understandable, and gave me enough information to want to explore the more challenging books that scared me off initially.
Fantastic, incredible, well organized and well written introduction to Kabbalah. I am not Jewish and knew next to nothing about Kabbalah but this book explained it all so well. I find the basic tenets, not the details, make so much sense to me. I bought two more for other people.
This isn’t just a book. It is something so much more! I’ve read many books but this one is beyond words. It’s not just the answers I’ve needed so badly to get out of this tough time, but actions being placed within me to really make them happen. It’s way more than a review could ever make possible enough for a reader to understand. But I couldn’t feel okay without writing a review on how sincerely beautiful this book is because it is something I’d want nothing more than to share with the entire world. Thank you world for this book!!

Been on a deep spiritual path for 40 years... can more easily discern truth from lies.... and... this book is crammed full of essential spiritual principles, presented simply, effectively and to the point. There are some uncomfortable truths in it, but Truth is not always comfortable!Bought one for each of my grown daughters... really wish they would read it!Highly recommended!
Thank you, Michael Berg -- this is a great gift to humanity! And it is greatly enriching my life! After reading most of this book in one day, despite numerous work distractions, it has already helped me enormously. I find myself spiritually healed, encouraged, given new hope and wisdom and love and faith. It is like the author says, he is continually surprised and gratified to hear feedback from readers that this book has changed their lives. I do not doubt it. It is surely one of the most important books I have ever read. Not just for intellectuals, nor for Jews (and I am a self-confessed Jewish intellectual who sometimes wonders why God didn't have him around at the Creation of the Unvierse to kibbitz a little bit), but for all people who seek greater happiness, wisdom, and love in their lives. The spiritual principles stand up -- far overshadowing the intellectual complexity with which the Kabbalah is normally presented. (In fact, I find some of the negative reviews in this section to be unintentionally hilarious in matching the warning Michael gives that the more one shares the light, the more one meets resistance from various forms of darkness, including intellectual condescension, envy, materialistic greed, and more -- and that the greater the light the more the resistance.) Herein, instead of showy philosphpical complexity, we find folksy pithy and yet highly profound instructional stories by learned Rabbi's and teachers of the Kabbalah which are tremendous growth tools. Instead of hair-splitting footnotes about various scientific and philosophical disagreements among purists, we find simple life-changing paradigms, like that the purpose of life is to learn how to acquire for the good of others, not just oneself, and insights into reincarnation, and karma, and that the central lesson is that through sharing we resoante with the Light of the Creator and become great, while we must be courageous in action yet humble and cautious in not hurting or unduly judging others, and as we learn to love as the Creator loves, we bring about the death of death. (Reminds me of the insights of my Buddhist wife -- the Kabbalah is truly a source of universal wisdom!) This book makes spiritual learning fun, yet never sacrifices depth and sincerity and meaningfulness. I am enjoying it thoroughly. And I have ordered still more books on the Kabbalah. Thank you, Michael Berg. I owe you more than I can ever repay. Thank you, Michael Berg -- this is a mitzvah!
i recommend this book to everyone I just wish their was a Spanish version I loved it so much I wanted to give it as a gift to my mom but she only reads in Spanish loved this book the author is amazing!! I would read more of his books
