I was looking for a book on tunisian crochet and as usual the sample piece was very limited and I was reluctant to spend almost $4 on that basis, so I kept looking. Imagine my surprise when I found this book for free which not only included the one I looked at but two other books that were also available at $4 each. Well I am glad I didn't dish out my money, this could have been good but for the lack of usable photos. The last two books had very small photos of the finished item, and even though on kindle they can be enlarged, were next to useless. Did I mention that all the pattern are written out in script. Some of the Afghans looked complicated which does not inspire me to try them on my own. Maybe some one with more experience may find them good.As for the Tunisian projects no photos where available except for a series of small photos which is to pass for instruction on one page.If you are experienced and like to read reams and reams on instructions in script, go for it but otherwise find something else.On an aside I really wish that the samples would be better in all books, I have many books that I have return due to lack of info in the first place and that costs both side of the equation.
I was very disappointed with this book. All of the photographs are black and white which makes it hard to see the illustrations. I would not recommend this book to anyone, especially beginners. And the title says Tunisian and Bavarian and Afghan Crochet in One Book. I don't want to crochet butterflies, roses, headbands for babies, or hats for kids. Terrible book.

I would recommend this book for the stitch instructions and pictures. But the patterns are very basic and there are no finished product pictures.
